Thousands of families in the uk don’t have the privilege of natural gas to supply their central heating systems. Oil central heating is an efficient substitute to natural gas and doesn’t differ much from current gas prices, and in our experience cheaper and more reliable than its renewable counterparts. PH Heating engineers install and service hundreds of oil boilers every year.

One such heating system was Mexborough working mans club.
The first call out found the old boiler was spilling fumes into the property, after a quote on remedial work PH Heating removed the existing boiler and installed a new boulter boiler complete with new flue system and ventilation system.
Three zones were installed with time and temperature controls, each zone is able to be used independently this will benefit by reducing fuel costs.
We pride ourselves on our service and installing top quality boilers (see grant boilers in the quality products section) and only installing boilers to current standards. Each boiler shall be registered with oftec and the boiler manufacturer.
Central heating oil tanks should be checked annually as part of the oil boiler service. PH Heating engineers were called out to a dripping oil tank which had not been assessed for quite some time, this allowed the tank to corrode beyond repair.
Oil spillages can result in costly fines from water authorities. The tank was removed and replaced with a Titan 1200ltr bunded tank complete with a new flag base (right). Bunded tanks will contain any spillages in the future. On request we provide tank risk assessments for domestic and commercial premises to provide peace of mind for the customer.
Larger oil tanks should be installed onto a solid concrete base extending 300mm around the tank.
This oil tank was installed as a new installation converting from lpg. The customer located in Clayton was delighted with the finished product.

Failure to use qualified engineers can result in costly repairs such as these internal baffles (left), removed from a boiler installed by an unqualified person, who failed to notice that they had fallen in front of the burner. We have hundreds of customers with oil installations, these boilers are serviced by us annually and are issued with a CD11 service certificate and analyzer print out.
